At Hair by Rose Essex, we’re passionate about helping you feel confident and cared for. Whether you're booking a protective style, wig install, or custom service, we aim to provide a calm, respectful experience that prioritizes the health of your natural hair.

What’s Included

  • Hair Provided: Braiding hair is included in your service price (standard pre-stretched colors: 1, 1b, 2, and 4).

  • Work-From-Home Friendly Home Studio: We have complimentary WiFi and snacks so feel free to bring your laptop and carry on with your day while you're in the chair!

  • You don't need to take annual leave — many clients comfortably work from the studio while getting their hair done.

  • Convenient Booking: Our calendar is always open 3 weeks ahead, so you can book appointments easily at your convenience. If you don’t see a time that works for you please get in touch and we will try to fit you in.

  • Appointments are scheduled online for your convenience. Simply select your service, choose a date and time, and you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details including directions to your chosen location.

    A booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This varies depending on your total service cost and will be deducted from your final balance, with the remainder due on the day.

    Monday to Thursday and Sundays

    Free parking is available along Moulsham Street for up to 60 minutes.

    There are also several nearby car parks including Moulsham Street Car Park and Parkway Public Car Park.

    Please allow yourself enough time to park and make your way to your appointment.

    📍 Private Studio, Chelmsford, CM1

    Fridays and Saturdays

    Free parking is available nearby and the C2 bus stop is just a 2 to 3 minute walk away.

    Please come alone to your appointment unless otherwise agreed, to keep the environment calm and focused.

  • Payment methods: Cash, Bank transfer or online payment in full.

  • Please arrive on time to enjoy your full service.
    A 10-minute grace period is offered if you're running late. After that, your appointment may need to be rescheduled to avoid impacting the next client.

    Need to reschedule?

    • 72 hours' notice is required.

    • If you reschedule on time to an appointment date within the same month, your original booking fee will carry over.

    • If you move your appointment to another month, a new booking fee will be required.

    • Reschedules can only be done once. After this, a new appointment will be required.
